Foundation Homeloans have made things even easier for you and your portfolio landlord clients.

This is because, with immediate effect, the maximum value of mortgages that can be held by a client with Foundation Home Loans has increased from £2 million to £3 million. 

Don’t forget, there is no limit on the total number of properties that can be held with Foundation (now up to a maximum value of £3m). Nor is there any limit on the number of properties held within the overall portfolio.

Further to this, Foundation have changed their criteria regarding proof of mortgage payments. They have changed their requirements and will no longer require evidence for the last 2 years.

Instead, they require proof of mortgage payments for 12 months and will require customers to declare that they haven’t missed any payments within the last 24 months. This applies to all new buy-to-let mortgage applications going forwards.
